Bride History in Poland

A old-fashioned Polish bride used to be a three or perhaps four evening affair. Generally, it was held outside in parks, forests and buildings. They were a celebration of life and the bounty of dynamics. Today, however, many couples choose to omit the church and just have a service in their home or yard with close family and friends. They also enjoy the fantastic meals, audio and whiskey but it’s not quite what it once was.

On the day of the wedding, just before midnight ( or around it if a one- moment bride), comes the common service known as “oczepiny”, the opening of the bride. At this point, the mask is removed and she dons her czepek – a cap worn by Polish angels to reflect their position as married women. This is also when the longer locks are unbraided and cut little, as a symbol of her move from heroine to femininity.

As the couple leave the church, guests shower them with coins and granules, to offer them luck and prosperity. They subsequently change into their bash clothes. It is also classic to toss smaller, round coins into the couple’s mane– whoever collects the most will be in charge of their finances

The group begins, and you’ll get a lot of dancing going on. Poles think that this reduces the side effects of too much having. There will be a lot of meals to, including lots of different kinds of sweets, snacks and ice cream.
